Groups and workshops

Therapeutic Groups

In-depth, consisting of around four or five sessions, specialised topics and methods of managing.

Students must have attended an appointment with a practitioner from the service in order to access these groups and it is expected that all sessions must be attended. As a result of attending a group, students can attend Moving on Groups, which is a peer-to-peer support group with other students. These can then be accessed throughout the rest of your time at university for on-going support.

Psychoeducational Workshops

One-off groups looking at common mental health difficulties. Ways to cope such as practising mindfulness or challenging unhelpful thinking patterns. These can be accessed by any student and do not require any other engagement with the mental health support team.
